Wildfires are dangerous fires that spread rapidly. Wildfires can be uncontrollable.

 

How are wildfires caused?

 

They can be caused by: cigarettes being thrown on the ground, careless behavior  with chemicals, and lightning hitting the ground.

 

Why are wildfires sometimes bad and sometimes good?

 

They’re bad because they can burn down forest vegetation and property. They can be good because they can bring new life to the forest. They can help plants and animal habitats grow. Plants grow well after fires.
